Fall streamer lessons…

I purchased a switch rod this summer specifically for fishing the Truckee in fall and winter.  I plan to swing flies once things get a bit colder and I ran into this video showing a great way to put a loop at the end of a sink tip.

What switch rod did you get?

    • 10’10” Echo 6wt. switch rod. The fly shop I work at in Montana in the summers picked up Echo rods this year and I treated myself to the rod and their Ion reel with an extra spool, Airflo 390 grain skagit switch line and a 420 grain speydicator line for nymphing. I love the rod, unfortunately have not had the time to fish a lot (which is unusual)…Matt
